2023 Angels & Amethysts Auction Raises Over $100,000 for Koinonia Foundation
The Koinonia Foundation is thrilled to announce that our 2023 Angels & Amethysts Auction Banquet raised over $100,000! On March 30, more than 180 generous supporters gathered at The Sutherland, a stunning 18th-century estate, to help provide critical funding for neighbors in crisis. Thanks to the overwhelming support from our community, we will be able to offer additional grants to local nonprofits and extend care to those who need it most.
A Night to Remember
The evening was filled with excitement and purpose. Guests enjoyed a seated dinner beneath ancient oaks and magnolias, followed by a live auction led by the talented auctioneer Jay Hoy. The night also included a silent auction, remarks from Jim Adams and Wake Forest Mayor Vivian Jones, and an award ceremony recognizing key contributors.

Making a Difference Together
Because of YOU—our donors, sponsors, and supporters—we exceeded our fundraising goal. These funds will allow the Koinonia Foundation to continue providing grants and resources to local nonprofits that help address human needs in our community, from food security to housing assistance and more.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to the success of this year’s event. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of our neighbors in Wake Forest, Rolesville, and Youngsville.
Thank you for your unwavering support and commitment to Koinonia’s mission. We look forward to continuing this important work with you in the future!
